Summer fruit salad

You know that I am a big fan of simple recipes and last week I had at home some fruits that I needed to finish before leaving for the weekend so I came up with this quick recipe for refreshing summer fruit salad. This amount will be enough for 4 people or even more. It combines very nicely with a chocolate cake :)

Ingredients

  • 4 nectarines
  • 4 peaches
  • 1/2 lime
  • 2 spoons of maple sirup

Directions

Firstly, little advice - keep the fruits outside the fridge. This way they can ripen and are sweeter and tastier. (unless you live in Spain or in other southern regions) Peel the peaches and cut them together with nectarines into small pieces to your taste. Mix them in a bowl with the juice of half lime and add 2 spoons of maple sirup. Keep the salad in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Of course, if you cannot wait, you can eat it straithaway :)
