Marinated chicken breast

Are you looking for a meal which is light and quickly done during these hot summer days? Chicken breast might not be the most original meat but with this marinade you will fall in love with it again :) Count around 1 hour for the marinade.

Ingredients

  • chicken breast
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 spoons of olive oil
  • ginger (size of your thumb)
  • 1 spoon of soy sauce
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • lemon juice (1/2 lemon)

Directions

Prepare your marinade by mixing the olive oil, bit of salt and pepper, diced ginger, soy sauce, lemon juice and honey. Add the chicken breast cut into slices or small pieces and leave it for at least an hour in the fridge (the longer the better). Then fry the chicken on a frying pan until it is golden and ready to be served. Use the marinade as a fat. A vegetable salad goes the best with it (I had cucumber salad).
